A Patient Check-in Kiosk is a self-service digital system typically found in healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices.
Uses of Patient check-in kiosk -
- Update personal information of the patients
- This patient registration kiosks used to register of patient arrival for appointments
- Verify insurance details
- Complete necessary paperwork electronically
InstaKlinic - Patient Check-in & Registration Process
- The front side of the medical POD serves as a smart check-in point. It is equipped with a 55-inch screen directing the check-in steps to the patient.
- The ID reader will verify the patient's details.
- EHR/EMR integration - The system will be linked to the backends or EMR/EHR of the hospital, which verifies the appointment details and check-in of the patient. The POD is also equipped with a QR Code for accepting contactless payments. (subject to the integration which will be an additional to the original scope)
- The check-in area has a Hypersound directional speaker within the POD for directing feedback sounds just toward the patient without disrupting the surrounding environment.
