The problem

Revenue leaks between the note and the claim.

Denials and rework

Coding errors and missing documentation lead to rejections that take weeks to resubmit.

Under-coding

Comorbidities and procedures that were treated but never coded mean care delivered and never paid for.

Coder shortage

Experienced coders are hard to hire, and backlogs grow every month-end.

How AI Medical Coder works

Evidence-backed codes, reviewed by your experts.

AI Medical Coder works alongside your coding team. It does the first pass on every encounter so your coders can verify and approve rather than start from scratch.

  1. Ingest the encounter

It pulls the signed note from AI Scribe or your EMR, along with orders, lab results, procedures and the patient's problem list.

  2. Extract the clinical facts

Clinical language models identify diagnoses, severity, laterality, procedures and visit complexity, and ignore conditions that were ruled out.

  3. Suggest codes with evidence

Each suggested code links to the exact sentence in the note that supports it and carries a confidence score. It supports ICD-10-CM and CPT, as well as ICD-10-AM and ACHI for KSA.

  4. Validate before submission

It checks payer rules, code combinations and medical necessity. When documentation is missing, it sends the doctor a short query instead of letting the claim fail.

  5. Coder approves and submits

Your coder accepts or edits each code in a single worklist, and the approved codes flow to your RCM or claims platform over FHIR/HL7 or API. Every decision is kept for audit.

Inside the product

A coder worklist that explains itself.

High-confidence encounters move quickly, and edge cases are flagged for an expert. Coders can always see why a code was suggested.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace our coders?

No. It does the first pass so your coders can review more encounters with higher accuracy. Final approval always stays with your team.

Which code sets are supported?

ICD-10-CM and CPT, which are common in the UAE, and ICD-10-AM and ACHI for Saudi Arabia. Code sets are configured per facility and payer.

Do we need to use AI Scribe too?

No. AI Medical Coder reads notes from any EMR, but pairing it with AI Scribe gives the most complete documentation.

What's in the free coding review?

We run a de-identified sample of your encounters through AI Medical Coder and send you a report on code variances, documentation gaps and potential revenue impact.

How is it deployed?

It runs as a cloud service hosted in-region or in your own cloud tenancy, and connects to your EMR and claims systems through standard interfaces.
